Quantified Sensor Technology’s wireless sensor systems can now be directly integrated with Priva One, one of the most widely used climate computer platforms. The announcement allows growers worldwide to seamlessly enrich their Priva environments with detailed, real-time data on microclimate and substrate conditions, ultimately saving time, water, nutrients, and labour.
“We’re excited to announce that our customers can now connect Quantified Sensor Technology sensors to Priva One to visualize their data directly within their current Priva environment,” says Paul Kengen, Co-Founder of Quantified Sensor Technology. “This integration allows growers to access both macro and micro-level data without switching between platforms.”
While traditional climate computers provide valuable insights, they often measure environmental conditions at just one or two points per hectare. Quantified’s wireless sensor network dramatically enhances this by offering a distributed sensor solution that captures data from across the entire growing area.
“Our sensors are designed to complement existing climate systems if the grower has a high-tech facility,” Paul explains. “Instead of one or two data points, growers can deploy dozens of sensors to detect subtle variations in temperature, humidity, CO2, and substrate moisture across their crops. This creates a heat map of the growing area, revealing differences that plants are experiencing in real time.”
The sensors can also function standalone for growers operating in mid- or low-tech environments.
In these cases, users can rely on Quantified’s own platform to access sensor readings, allowing for manual adjustments to irrigation, fertigation, or climate systems based on objective data.
“Everything we do is geared toward achieving better uniformity,” he emphasizes. “Uniformity in climate, irrigation, and fertigation all impact plant health and yield. By giving growers more granular data, we help them act with precision.”
Quantified Sensor Technology has made it a priority to be platform-agnostic, offering integration not only with Priva but also with LetsGrow, Source.ag, Polariks, and others.
“Growers don’t want to jump between five different platforms to monitor their crops,” Paul mentions. “Our goal is to meet them where they already are. If a grower uses Priva, the data should appear right there. If they’re using LetsGrow or Source.ag, same story. It’s all about simplicity and usability.”
With Priva accounting for around 50% of the global high-tech greenhouse market, the latest integration is a strategic achievement for Quantified. Paul notes that many growers were already using Quantified’s platform but requested direct visibility of sensor data within their Priva systems.
“There was clear demand from our customers,” he recalls. “Especially in high-tech environments, growers were asking us: ‘Can we see this data in our climate computer?’ Now we can confidently say yes.”
Quantified is already working on connecting its sensors to IVO, the climate computer from Hoogendoorn, to further expand its ecosystem of partners.
“With Priva ready, we’re moving ahead with the IVO climate computer,” Paul confirms. “This ensures that even more growers, regardless of their climate control systems, can benefit from our sensor technology.
